Best Treatment for Dry Lips

Best Treatment for Dry Lips

Good things come in small packages and this little jar is no exception! Made in Australia from all natural ingredients, this Hemp Lip Balm is suitable for everyone. No chemicals or nasties and flavoured with a touch of vanilla.

This is what Jackie has to say:

"This winter has been brutal and my daughter and I have both suffered with terribly dry lips. We have tried everything and I was almost losing hope. After just 24 hours of using this lip balm, both of us noticed a huge improvement. It's light yet super moisturising and sinks into the lips, rather than sitting on top. Highly recommended!"

Why do we also recommend this Hemp Lip Balm?

Our lips are very sensitive to touch and have thinner skin compared to the rest of our bodies, so they tend to dry out quicker and require a bit more TLC to stay soft and smooth.

Here's a run down of the simple list of ingredients that make this the most effective lip balm we've tried.

Hemp oil is an excellent moisturiser for all skin types. It contains a rich profile of nutrients, useful bioactive compounds, and healthy fatty acids such as omega and linoleic acid.  These fatty acids are key components of the cells that make up the outer layer of your skin.  These are important nutrients for cellular health and are excellent for relieving or preventing splitting and chapped lips.

Jojoba oil has anti-inflammatory properties which help to tame chaffing and chapping, reduce redness caused by drying, ease the effects of eczema and rosacea, and keep skin calm and comfortable. The Vitamin E and B-complex vitamins in the Jojoba oil help in skin repair and damage control.

Soybean oil is rich in vitamin E, a nutrient that can help promote skin health. Applying it topically may protect against inflammation and help the skin retain moisture.

Wheatgerm oil is loaded with essential nutrients such as plant proteins, fibre, vitamins, minerals (phosphorus, zinc, iron, selenium and potassium) and fatty acids which have proven to be beneficial for hair, skin and overall health. Wheat germ oil is extracted from the germ and is said to be equally as beneficial.

Vitamin E contains antioxidants, acts as an anti-inflammatory and is supremely moisturising.

Beeswax can create a protective layer on the skin. It’s also a humectant, which means that it attracts water. Both of these qualities can help the skin stay hydrated. Beeswax is also a natural exfoliator, ideal for sloughing away dead skin cells.

Available in both our stores and online, but sells like hotcakes so make sure you don't miss out!  Buy a couple - keep one in your bag and one at home!
